  1.  
  2. Purpose: To gain the ability to view Wpwin 6.1 documents in  the
  3. Windows client of GroupWise 4.1 (8-10-94 OFWIN.EXE)
  4.  
  5. For 4.1: Copy the SC58FI.DLL and VS58WP6.DLL enclosed into the
  6. WPC20 shared code Directory. Exit the Windows Client and re-enter
  7. it to make the change effective.

  9. For 4.0a (10-15-94 OFWIN.EXE): Procedure is the same as for 4.1,
  10. except that you would delete a file called SC58VW.CA after you
  11. exit the client and before you re-enter it. Thereafter when you
  12. attempt to view an attachment this file will be rebuilt normally
  13. in the Windows directory or as specified by the command UserDir=
  14. <path> in the SCC.INI file that may be found in the windows
  15. directory. The SCC.INI file is not necessary to the view process,
  16. if it is not found then the SC58VW.CA file will be created in the
  17. Windows directory.

  19. Note: When you upgrade to GroupWise 4.1a this procedure will not
  20. be unecessary as these .Dll's are already part of this version.
  21. These attached files are not compatible with Office 4.0 ( 6-4-93
  22. OFWIN.EXE ) as this version did not have Systems Compatibility
  23. Corporation View files.
