  89. ** Note: If WordPerfect is installed on a Network, consult your
  90. Network System Administrator before trying to install the new
  91. printer drivers.  Do not rename the printer files that end in
  92. ".ALL".  WP will ignore printer files that do not end in ".ALL". 
  93. WP will create printer driver files from information stored in
  94. the files ending in ".ALL".  The printer drivers created by WP
  95. will end in ".PRS".

  99. WordPerfect 5.1/5.1+ for DOS
  100.  
  101. 1)  Copy the *.ALL file that was extracted from the *.EXE file
  102. into the directory where your other *.ALL files are.  This is
  103. usually in the \WP51 directory if you selected the standard
  104. installation. 
  105.  
  106. 2)  Start WordPerfect 5.1/5.1+ for DOS.
  107.  
  108. 3)  From a blank screen press Shift+F7, S for Select and 2 for
  109. Add.  
  110.  
  111. 4)  Highlight your printer and choose 1 for select.  
  112.  
  113. 5) Press Enter to verify the filename.
  114.  
  115. 6) Once the fonts are updated, Press F7 to exit and follow the
  116. the prompts on your screen. 
  117.  
  118. ** Note:  If you are not sure where the printer drivers are
  119. located, you will want to start WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS, press
  120. Shift+F1, 6 for Location of Files and write down the path next to
  121. the Printer Files option. If there is not a path listed, the
  122. default directory is \WP51.  Press F7 once to Exit.  From this
  123. point, you will then follow steps 1-6 above.

  126. WordPerfect 5.1/5.2/5.2+ for Windows

  128. 1)  Copy the *.ALL file that was extracted from the *.EXE file
  129. into the directory where your other *.ALL files are. This is
  130. usually the shared code directory, \WPC, if you selected the
  131. standard installation.

  133. 2)  Start WPWin 5.2 by clicking on the appropriate icon in the
  134. Windows Program Manager.

  136. 3)  From the main document screen, click on the File menu,
  137. choose Select Printer.

  139. 4)  Select WordPerfect to specify that you want to use a
  140. WordPerfect printer driver

  142. 5)  Choose Add
  143.  
  144. 6) Select Additional Printers (*.ALL) to create a new printer
  145. driver (.PRS) from the .ALL file.

  147. 7) Choose Ok to confirm the filename and follow the on-screen
  148. prompts.

  151. ** Note:  If you are not sure where the printer drivers are
  152. located, you will want to start WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows,
  153. click File, Preferences. Write down the default directory on the
  154. line titled Printer Files.  If there is not a path listed, the
  155. default directory is \WPC.  Click on OK to close.  From this
  156. point, you will then follow steps 1-7 above.
