  3. *NOTE:  THE KEYBOARD FILES INCLUDED IN THIS .ZIP FILE ARE FOR USE
  4.  ONLY WITH WORDPERFECT 5.1 FOR DOS.

  6. These keyboard files are available to WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS
  7. users who do not need or who do not wish to have a complete
  8. International Language Module (a separate WordPerfect product),
  9. but who think an international keyboard layout would be helpful.
  10.  
  11. For information regarding Language Modules, please call Information
  12. Services at 800-451-5151 or 801-225-5000.  International customers
  13. can call the International Information Services Group at 801-222-4200.
  14.  
  15. To install and select the international keyboard file(s) included
  16. within this .ZIP file, please do the following:
  17.  
  18. 1.   Copy the .WPK file into the directory on your hard drive
  19.      specified in Setup|Location of Files for keyboard files.  If
  20.      you aren't sure which directory this is on your system, you
  21.      may check this directory by doing the following:
  22.      a.   Enter WordPerfect, press Setup (Shift-F1), Location of
  23.           Files (6), Keyboard/Macro Files (2).  If this selection
  24.           is blank, copy the .WPK file into your \WP51 directory.
  25. 2.   To select the keyboard that you just copied, enter
  26.      WordPerfect and press Setup (Shift-F1), Keyboard Layout (5),
  27.      highlight the keyboard you want and press Select (1), then
  28.      Exit (F7).

  31. Notes:

  33. 1.   To see the keyboard layout of the selected keyboard, press
  34.      F3 from the WordPerfect document screen.
  35. 2.   You may not see the exact character on the screen that you
  36.      typed because of display limitations.  The screen may
  37.      display a similar character or a completely different
  38.      character than what you wish; however, View Document (Shift-
  39.      F7, V) and the printed page should display the proper
  40.      character.
  41. 3.   The XX_USA.WPK keyboard file is designed to give users of
  42.      the US keyboard layout access to extended characters that
  43.      are important to the language through strategic dead keys.
  44. 4.   The XX_DOS.WPK keyboard file is designed to emulate the DOS
  45.      keyboard layout of that language.
  46. 5.   If you need help with these keyboard files, you may contact

  49. 6.   The following keyboards are available for download (both a
