  5. MDOS 1.06 - & GPL 1.01 -
  6. TIMODE must be the 1st line now in your AUTOEXEC file. RAMDISK must not be
  7. bigger than 120. You can now also load modules from your AUTOEXEC file by
  8. including a line such as GPL E:EA and it will goto GPL and load the EA module
  9. for you. Anything put on DSK5 now is retained between MDOS and GPL. MDOS now
  10. stays in memory and will come back up when leaving GPL without reading a disk.
  11. Looks like the GOTO,FOR, etc. have been fixed, although I haven't tried it, it
  12. is in there after looking at it with a sector editor.

  14. So in other words change your AUTOEXEC file to read:

  18. And you can add:

  20. GPL E:EA or GPL F:EA
  21. Or whatever name you have given to a cartridge. Ya I said cartridge! Should
  22. prove interesting on these files of GPL that have been modified! Also TIMODE
  23. ONLY works in an AUTOEXEC file. NOT from Command mode!!!!
  24. I have no idea what else is different. Except it comes up as SPEED=5 and
  25. pushing caps lock doesn't activate the load file routine anymore. Other than
  26. that YOU figure it out!!!!

  28. ONE word of warning: Rumor has it applications written for 1.01 of MDOS will
  29. not run from 1.06. Meaning from the A> prompt! Except of course GIF2!!

  31. as soon as possible!!
