  2.         DISK+AID Patch for use With CorComp Manager.

  5. This is for those that have Disk+Aid. Or are comtemplating getting this program.

  7. The newest version uses a block sector load. As it stands now the load begins
  8. at sector 22. Now if you also have a CorComp Disk Controller Card, the manager
  9. starts at sector 30. A minor overwrite problem! So I found a way to change the
  10. loader for Aid to start loading at sector 91, directly after the manager
  11. program. Below are the steps to modifiy a disk for both programs.

  14. 1. Initialize a disk, installing the manager.
  15.  
  16. 2. Copy a 15 sector program like FORMA2.  This will fill in the 14 sector
  17.    block.  14 for the program and 1 for the directory.

  20. 3. Copy "DISKOBJ" to the disk. It will start at sector 91.
  21.  
  22. 4. Copy "DISK+AID-O" next.
  23.  
  24. 5. Using a sector editor, "AID" should be located at 0C3-0CA. Look at sector
  25.    0C3 then at hex 6C, it should read "22" change this to 91. Write this back
  26.    to the disk and now it should load.

  29. 6. IF NOT, redo the above again. I have done this twice so I know it works.

  33. Remember one thing. IF you decide to copy this NEW disk. Do a sector copy,
  34. or follow the above steps for the programs listed above. Otherwise they
  35. will be out of order and will NOT load!

  38. Download complete.  Turn off Capture File.
