  5. Y.A.P.P., by Alexander Hulpke, is the most advanced drawing system
  6. for the TI-99/4A and the Myarc Geneve 9640. Combining all the
  7. popular painting features of other drawing programs, along with
  8. the spectacular graphics capabilities provided by the new
  9. generation of graphics hardware, Y.A.P.P. may be the last paint

  11. the new generation of hardware was designed to run.
  12. Y.A.P.P. is designed to function on a TI-99/4A with an 80-column
  13. device (by Mechatronics, Dijit or Asgard), or on a Myarc Geneve
  14. 9640. It is the first program designed to take full advantage of
  15. the features offered by the 9938 Video processor used in those
  16. devices. Furthermore, it is a full-featured drawing program that
  17. includes:
  18. * Support for 4 different drawing modes including 256x212 dots
  19. with 256 colors, 256x424 with 256 colors, 512x212 with 16 colors,
  20. and 512x424 with 16 colors. Unlike a standard TI-99/4A, each dot
  21. can be any of the available colors.
  22. * An icon driven interface that works with the Asgard Mouse, the
  23. Myarc Mouse, a Mechatronics/Dijit mouse, or a joystick.
  24. * Extensive drawing commands including an airbrush tool, different
  25. drawing brushes, lines, boxes, frames, filling, and
  26. circles/ellipses.
  27. * Built-in support for moving and copying parts of a picture.
  28. * A fast zoom drawing mode (192K video RAM required for some
  29. graphics modes).
  30. * Built-in support for TI-Artist compatible fonts - type on the
  31. screen with ease in your favorite fonts.
  32. * Support for creating and using color clip-art.
  33. * An "undo" function for erasing mistakes.
  34. * The saving and loading of pictures, including support for My-Art
  35. picture format, and a built-in mouse/joystick driven disk
  36. cataloger.
  37. * Extensive support for 10 different logic functions that work
  38. with almost all commands for use in creating special effects.
  39. * A complete printout utility for printing color pictures in gray-
  40. scale on most dot-matrix printers. This sophisticated utility also
  41. allows you to customize the gray pattern selected for each color.

  43. (8K Supercart required on a TI-99/4A to load them directly into
  44. the program, otherwise a seperate conversion utility included must
  45. be used).

  48. includes a large collection of original example pictures and fonts, and

  52. disk system, and either an Asgard Mouse, Mechatronics mouse or a
  53. joystick; or (2) a Myarc Geneve 9640 with a disk system, an Asgard
  54. or a Myarc Mouse. A printer is recommended - compatibility with
  55. non-Epson or compatible printers is not assured. Suggested retail
