  14.           ASGARD MOUSE IMPROVED AND REDUCED IN PRICE

  16. July 1, 1992: Asgard Software is pleased to announce that the
  17. suggested retail price of the Asgard Mouse has been reduced 20%
  18. from $49.95 to $39.95. Recent efforts to redesign the mouse have
  19. produced a more reliable and less costly product - and we are
  20. passing on the savings to our customers.

  22. Installed by simply attaching to an RS232 connector, the mouse
  23. can be used by simply plugging it in and running any Asgard Mouse
  24. compatible program. A disk included with the device contains a
  25. driver for using the mouse with TI-Artist/TI Artist Plus, as well
  26. as two demonstration programs.

  28. Until November 1, 1992, we will also be including a copy of our
  29. highly rated Classic Checkers (please see MICROpendium for a
  30. recent review) - a $14.95 value - free with every order! Not only
  31. do you get a great mouse you also get a great game designed for
  32. use with it - at one low price.

  34. Because of the effort necessary to ensure a quality, consistent
  35. product, shipments of the Asgard Mouse once were sporadic at
  36. times. These problems have been recently resolved. At this time,
  37. and in the future, all mouse orders will be shipped as they are
  38. received, and the item is always "in stock".

  49. July 1, 1992: Asgard Software is pleased to announce the release
  50. and immediate availability of the newest member of the Page Pro
  51. 99 family- Page Pro Page Composer, by Chris Bobbitt.
  52.  
  53. This 2-disk software package extends Page Pro's desktop
  54. publishing capabilities with many exciting new functions not
  55. available in any other TI-99/4A or Geneve program.

  57. For the first time in one program you can create documents of
  58. almost 1000 pages in size; print pages in either landscape or
  59. portrait page orientations; and create pages in a range of
  60. different printer resolutions. Each page in your document can
  61. contain up to 30 pictures of any size. The extended printer
  62. support means that even the largest pictures converted from PCX
  63. files with Asgard's GOFER, or MacPaint format with our Pix Pro,
  64. can be displayed and printed as-is.

  66. While Page Composer can easily work by itself, it works best when
  67. used with Page Pro 99 and compatible artwork. In conjunction with
  68. Page Pro 99 it is a powerful took for laying out newsletters and
  69. periodicals, reports and other documents.

  71. Page Composer is not only a capable addition to the Page Pro
  72. family, it is also uniquely designed. Page Composer is the first
  73. program for the TI-99/4A written to work specifically with a
  74. mouse such as the Asgard Mouse. Like modern mouse software for
  75. other computers, Page Composer features: an icon interface where
  76. all program functions are selected by simply "clicking" a
  77. picture; scroll bars and arrows for moving the "window" around
  78. pages; "dialogue boxes" where users select options and specify
  79. filenames; "buttons" for making choices between options; and much
  80. more. While you still need to type to enter filenames and page
  81. numbers, joystick or Asgard Mouse users never have to otherwise
  82. touch the keyboard!

  84. Page Composer includes a collection of example documents and
  85. artwork, including a sample newsletter, and an extensive,
  86. illustrated manual. It requires a TI-99/4A with 32K, at least one
  87. DS/SD disk drive (2 or more recommended), and an Epson or
  88. compatible printer. While compatible with both the keyboard and
  89. joysticks, the program is most easily used with an Asgard Mouse.
  90. Page Composer is also fully compatible with the HFDC and the
  91. Myarc Geneve 9640.

  93. The suggested retail price of Page Composer is $17.95. Owners of
  94. Page Pro 99 can purchase the program for $14.95 by including a
  95. photocopy of the program disk with their order. Please add $3.00
