  2.                          THE LIGHT WORKS CD ROM

  4.                     IMAGIC  MAXON CINEMA 4D  OBJECTS
  5.  
  6.  
  7.  In  the  drawer  'Cinema4D_Data'  on  the  TLW-CDROM there are data for
  8. objects  by Tobias J.  Richter in the MAXON CINEMA4D format.  These data
  9. were  converted from the original REFLECTIONS format und was adjusted to
  10. the  MAXON  CINEMA4D  format.  All features of the original data and the
  11. appropriate  surface  texture was converted to the CINEMA4D format.  The
  12. drawers  which  you  can easily reach via Workbench, you'll find besides
  13. the  object data and textures further information on the object and some
  14. rendered pictures, which will give you a first impression on the object.
  15. You  can  use  the objects directly from CDROM in MAXON CINEMA4D.  Note:
  16. You cannot save any changes to CDROM.  In case you want to edit the data
  17. then copy the object to hard disk.

  19.  When copying objects from CDROM to your hard disk, you need to copy the
  20. object  data  and  the  textures  into  the appropriate drawers of MAXON
  21. CINEMA4D and then adjust the paths of the textures.

  23.  In case you don't own MAXON CINEMA4D, you can try the demo version of 
  24. it, which is supplied on this CDROM. You'll find the demo version in the
  25. drawer 'Cinema4D_Demo'. There you can find information about the 
  26. restrictions of this version and about the capability of the program. The
  27. demo is only version 1. In the mean time, Version 2 is ready which has got
  28. a larger set of functions. Information about this program can be found
  29. in the magazines or directly from MAXON Computer GmbH, Eschborn.
