  1. PBM_GUI is a GadTools interface to the PBM Plus graphics
  2. conversion software.
  3.  
  4. It uses a configuration file "PBM_GUI.config" to define
  5. all the parameters to the various routines.
  6.  
  7. See that file for information on its format.
  8.  
  9. When run (perferably from a CLI without RUN) if first of
  10. all loads and validates the configuration file. If no errors
  11. are found then it displays a window with 4 columns:
  12.  
  13. LOAD
  14. PROCESS
  15. MISC
  16. SAVE
  17.  
  18. Double clicking on one of the items in one of the lists displays
  19. a further requester allowing the input of parameters for the
  20. relevant command. The "Perform" gadget then performs the command.
  21. The close gadget cancels the command.
  22.  
  23. The Load/Process/Save routines normally operate on two temporary
  24. files "T:PBM_GUI_1" and "T:PBM_GUI_2".

  26. The close gadget quits the program.
  27.  
  28. There are also various improvements which could be made:
  29.  
  30.    Parameters to define the temporary files etc.
  31.    'Help' key support to display man pages.
