  1. This is the file "README.first" from the NetBSD-Amiga distribution. It
  2. describes the documentation available for NetBSD-Amiga.

  4. It was last updated on 20. December 1993. 
  5.  
  6. The current author of this file is Guenther Grau (s_grau@ira.uka.de). 
  7.  
  8. I am trying to maintain an overview over all the documentation
  9. available. So, if you want to work on an existing document or create a
  10. new one, _PLEASE_ contact me. This will help to keep the
  11. documentation available consistent and will enable me to keep this
  12. list up-to-date. Note that this is not a static layout, but only my
  13. first impression on how to structure the documentation. Some of these
  14. items may be split or merged in the future.

  17. The following documents are currently available (should be in DOCS/):

  19. README.first         Describes the documentation available for
  20.                      NetBSD-Amiga (This file).

  22. compatibility-list   Contains information about which hardware is
  23.                      known or NOT known to work with NetBSD.
  24.  
  25. FAQ.*                A list of frequently asked questions and their
  26.                      answers in various formats. See FAQ.readme for 
  27.              info.

  29. getting-NetBSD         A list of ftp-server, that carry NetBSD-Amiga
  30.  
  31. NetBSD.Install.720   An installation guide for people installing
  32.                      NetBSD-Amiga for the first time.
  33.  
  34. networking           A short guide on how to set up networking.
  35.              (Currently empty)
  36.  
  37. projects             A list of projects and which people are working
  38.                      on them.
  39.  
  40. wish-list            Contains suggestions for further implementation.

  42. x-windows            Describes all the X-Windows related topics.
  43.              (Currently empty)
