  10. Notes on LORVAD(R)  (formerly Printers Devil) fonts:
  11. <P>     BellBottom is a display font evocative of '60's poster 
  12. art.  Try it at 24 points or larger.  Looks best at 40 pts 
  13. or larger. Contains upper & lower case, numbers and a few 
  14. special characters. Not kerned. Shareware $10.
  15. <P>     These fonts are NOT demos.  Unless noted they contain 
  16. all the regular alphanumeric characters. Most contain an 
  17. assortment of special characters.  Fonts contain 
  18. ``hinting''; usually over one hundred kerning pairs are 
  19. defined. AFM files are included for kerned fonts.  Bodidly 
  20. Bold, Oswald Black, Blackforest, Inkabod,  <a href="CARTWRIGHT.html">CartWright</a>, 
  21.  <a href="JUDAS.html">Judas</a>,  <a href="ALBATROSS.html">Albatross</a>,  <a href="LOOPDELOOP.html">LoopDeLoop</a>, Medusa,  <a href="BELLBOTTOM.html">Bellbottom</a>,  <a href="DOWNWIND.html">DownWind</a>, 
  22. and Oxnard are type 1 PostScript fonts and may also be used 
  23. with ATM on non-PostScript printers. Oswald Grey, a type 3 
  24. font, may only be used on PostScript printers.  It has an 
  25. 80% grey fill with a black border.  
  26. <P>With ATM on the market I'd rather spend my time polishing 
  27. up the PostScript file than slaving over an archaic bitmap 
  28. screenfont.

  41.      LORVAD(R) fonts are distributed in the spirit of 
  42. shareware.  Try them out for a month.  If you decide to 
  43. keep any of these fonts you are required to send a $10 per 
  44. font registration fee to:

  52. you found them.  Maryland residents should include 5% sales

  55.      These products may be distributed freely as long as 
  56. the following conditions are met: The files may not be 
  57. modified and this notice must be included with each font or 
  58. group of LORVAD(R) fonts; Fonts may be included on 
  59. collections of Public Domain and Shareware disks providing 
  60. that no more than $10 is charged for the disk.  
  61. Distribution by electronic BBS is allowed.

  63.      If you paid for a disk with any of these fonts you are 
  64. still required to send in your registration fee if you 
  65. decide to keep them.

  67. The Bottom Line:  We will continue to release laser fonts 
  68. in a non-crippled format as long as there is a fair 
  69. response to the registration fee.
