  102.   to information about individuals in the movies.

  113.   updated with the new information.  However your are free to submit

  119. Rules
  120. -----
  121. 1. All copyrighted material is excluded from the BIOGRAPHY database.
  122.    This includes Movie Guides, Newspapers, Biographies etc.
  123.  
  124. 2. You must stick to the pre-arranged format given below.   The biographies
  125.    will be read in by a program, and will automatically be added to the 
  126.    list. Any non-conformant entries will be discarded.
  127.  
  128. 3. Try and keep biographies reasonably concise.
  129.  
  130. 4. The list compiler has the right to choose which biography to use.  
  131.    Information from a number of sources may be combined to provide a single
  132.    biography.
  133.  
  134. 5. Any submissions must have "BIOGRAPHY" in the subject line of the mail.
  135.    Multiple entries may be sent in one mail message.
  136.  
  137. 6. If possible, run your mini-bio through a spell checker.
  138.  
  139. 7. Any libelious or slanderous entries will be discarded.
  140.  
  141. 8. When submitting Trivia, if appropriate, try and include a date so that 
  142.    some form of chronology can be formed.

  210.       be followed by the place of birth if known.

  212. "DD:" Date of death, if known. Again, please state full date.  The cause of
  213.       death, if known should follow the date.

  215. "BG:" A mini biography. Each line may contain up to 76 characters. There
  216.       can be any number of BG: lines.

  218. "BY:" author(s) of description.   Enter your name (or pseudonym) here.   
  219.       You may enter anonymous if you wish.

  221. "BO:" Biographies of / books about this person. This line contains the book
  222.       title, author and possibly ISBN numbers.

  224. "OW:" Other works.  This section describes works, other than movies
  225.       attributed to the person, e.g. Books, plays, albums etc.

  227. "TR:" Trivia.  Each line should be bulleted (see example) and contain no
  228.       more than 76 chars per line.  There may be more than one TR: line.

  230. "QU:" Quotes made by that person. Each quote should be enclosed by quotation
  231.       marks and contain no more than 76 characters per line. There may be more
  232.       than one QU: line.

  234. "AG:" Agent's address.  A contact address for information on the person.

  236. "SP:" Spouses name, followed by start and end of marriage.

  238. *NB*  The NM: field is required, all other fields are optional.  The 
  239.       *smallest* detail will get added to the database.

  279. -------------------
  280. The lists can now be searched via a mail-server interface. For details
  281. send a message with a subject HELP to <movie@ibmpcug.co.uk>.

  283. Alternatively, the movie database package uses the information contained on 
  284. the lists to create and search a massive movie database. The package is 
  285. available via anonymous FTP as follows:
