One problem with this is that if your terminal server times out, there
is usually a good reason -- i.e. your link is idle and you are not
using the net. Since modem banks tend to be a scarce resource,
overusing a utility like this at best would be rude, and at worst
(like at UCB) could be grounds for losing a SLIP account. If you are
not using the SLIP link for a while, you should disconnect it, and
reconnect when you need it again, so as not to be a modem hog...
(Obviously, if you have personal dedicated modems and you aren't using
part of a shared resource, you can safely ignore this caveat....)
