Introduction
This program is a screen saver module designed to run on the Microsoft Windows 3.1 system, or Windows 95 system.
Operating Requirements
Microsoft Windows 3.1 system, or Windows 95 system.
At least 4MB of free memory (screen saver appearance will vary in accordance with the size of your display and the number of colours your machine can run).
A display capability of at least 256 colours.
Note 1
It is necessary to have enough CPU and memory power available in your machine todisplay full-colour BMP images. If your machine proves unable to do so, your areadvised to use Search to find the appropriate directory in which they have been installed, and to delete the BMP files forthwith.
Note 2
When the screen saver images cut in on a computer running more than 256 colours,they may occasion a palette change. You can remedy this by clicking CHANGE DISPLAY TO BLACK SCREEN to ON.
Installation and Removal
Installation
1. Using File Manager, copy the files marked PSL_SSV1.SCR and PSL_SSV1.HLP to your screen saver directory.
2. Select Desktop from the Control Panel, and scroll through the NAME menu on the SCREEN SAVER window. Select 'PSL SS. Ver 1.00' from the menu, then click OK.Your Parsely screen saver should now be installed.
Removal
1. Delete PSL_SSV1.SCR and PSL_SSV1.HLP from the Windows directory.
2. Open the editor files on your machine (eg. CONTROL.INI) and delete the following filenames:

SubDirectory=

View Type=
Center=
Tile=
ClearBackground=
Pause=
Speed=
PWProtected=
Bound=
BoundBitmap=
Please take care not to delete the relevant files from the other Windows screensavers, especially as regards the password file.

Your Parsley screensaver should now be uninstalled.
Setting up the Screen Saver
Once you have installed your screen saver, select Control Panels from the Main Windows Menu and open Desktop. On the Screen Saver part of the Desktop menu, youcan select PSL S.S. Ver 1.00 from the Name menu, and use click the SET UP (U) button to alter it. Click OK before quitting the Screen Saver menu to preserve the changes made. Please remember that changes will not be preserved within SET UP unless you press OK before exiting.
If any problems remain unresolved with the Microsoft Screen Saver, try clicking the dialogue box HELP (H) on the menu.
Testing Your Screen Saver
To test your screen saver before selecting it, press TEST (E) on the menu.
