  4. QBullets are copyrighted by Michael Herrick. In addition, the name "QBullet"
  5. is a servicemark. Permission is granted to use QBullets in your own Web site,
  6. provided you adhere to a few guidelines:

  8. 1. The graphics identified as "QBullets" may be incorporated in pages
  9. published on the World Wide Web.
  10.  
  11. 2. You will not modify the QBullets in any way. This includes changing their
  12. colors, features or dimensions.

  14. 3. You will use QBullets in the manner specified by the Matterform Media
  15. Web site and consistent with the usage of QBullets therein. Placement of
  16. QBullets will be directly after the annotated link, with the exception of 
  17. the NEW and UPDATED QBullets which should be placed before the text they
  18. annotate, and which do not need to be associated with any particular
  19. hypertext link. QBullets will be used to represent the meanings assigned
  20. for them in the Matterform site.

  22. 4. If you use QBullets in a Web site, you will publish a credit link from an
  23. appropriate page in your site (the welcome page, a help page or a credits
  24. page, for example) to the Matterform Media site. The link itself will read
  25. "Michael Herrick/Matterform Media" and pointed be to the Matterform Media
  26. QBullets Legend page
  27. (http://www.matterform.com/qbullets/legend.html). This will be
  28. reciprocated by the placement of a link to your page in the Matterform site.

  30. 5. You will inform Matterform Media by email of the URLS to the sites you
  31. publish which incorporate QBullets. Your sites will be linked from the
  32. Matterform Media site as examples of QBullet pages.

  34. 6. No claim is made to the interface device which QBullets embody. If you
  35. wish, you may design other graphics to serve the same purpose as QBullets.
  36. You may not call your graphics QBullets without explicit permission from
  37. Matterform Media. To request permission, simply email to Matterform
  38. Media the URL to a page which demonstrates the use of your graphics.

  41. There is no charge for using QBullets, however, their designer reserves the
  42. right to control their usage in these ways. If the above rules are too
  43. restrictive for you, do not use QBullets.
