  1. To create the two xmodem programs, run:
  2.     make all
  3.  
  4. To (compile and) install run:
  5.     make install
  6.  
  7. There are two manual files: xmodtran.1 and xmodrec.1
  8.  
  9. The two compiled programs, xmodrec and xmodtran, will be moved to the
  10. /usr/local directory.  If this is not where you want them, change the
  11. Makefile $PATH variable to what you want for your system.
  12.  
  13. The programs are being used on a VAX 750 with BSD 4.2.  They are used
  14. to transfer data between PCs and the VAX.
