  6.         The "w" option is the  Warning  column  number.   Typing  "ow"
  7.         followed by a number sets the warning column threshold; simply
  8.         typing  "ow"  causes  its current value to be displayed.  When
  9.         you are about to type into a column of equal or greater number
  10.         than the warning column, the number  of  the  column  you  are
  11.         about  to type into is displayed on the bottom line along with
  12.         the string "col  ".
