  3. Either someone else on a networked DOS system is using and possibly modifying
  4. your rolodex, or else you forgot to properly exit a previous use of your
  5. rolodex, or possibly the system crashed while you were using your rolodex the
  6. last time.

  8. You can check on the lock file by typing:
  9.  
  10. DIR <d:>\ROLODATA.LCK  (Where <d:> is your current disk drive, i.e., A:)
  11.  
  12. If you're on a networked system, and this file is present and you're not
  13. running rolodex, find out who may be running it.  Otherwise, you can clean up
  14. by simply typing:
  15.  
  16. DEL <d:>\ROLODATA.LCK
  17.
