- Would someone describe the state of the current standards effort for
- NLS(native language support).

- Is there a standard or a developing standard? Are multi-byte character sets
- or unicode systems being adopted.

- Are vendors jumping the gun and will we have a number of different solutions?

- Will application code still be required to declare character strings
- as wchar_t or would implementations, using unicode, simple make a char[]
- type declaration use 16 bit characters.
