  8. It appears that I did miss something -- any behavior that P1003.2a
  9. doesn't specify as being different for interactive operation is the
  10. same as for non-interactive operation.  So interactive comments need
  11. to work the same way as non-interactive comments.  In other words,
  12. "that shell" (bash) doesn't comply with 1003.2a in its handling of
  13. interactive comments.
