  3. I'm looking for an electronic version of posix 1003.3 and 1003.4.  Could
  4. someone  point me to a server  accessible  via email (I have no  general
  5. access to ftp) ?

  9. [ I am posting this because it is fairly typical of some messages I've
  10.   been getting.  I have been told, and I'll consider it "official" for
  11.   now, that there are NO on-line drafts available to the general pub-
  12.   lic; there are some available to people who have already paid for the
  13.   printed versions, and need the electronic form to sift through it
  14.   more easily.  This is the situation as I understand it, although I
  15.   am welcome to corrections from people who know.  In the meantime, as
  16.   usual, the information on where to get POSIX drafts and information
  17.   is available on ftp.uu.net via anonymous ftp, in 
  18.   usenet/comp.std/unix/Obtaining  -- mod ]
