  5. On one of our  sun clusters, the computing service runs process
  6. accounting, and find that they have to process the files on the
  7. (dataless) clients, because if they do not do this, the figures
  8. are wrong.
  9.  
  10. All this is because memory accounting seems somewhere to depend on
  11. the memory page size (the server and the clients have different
  12. memory page sizes), rather than being expressed in K-bytes. Once
  13. again I think we need to work in K-bytes to make accounting files
  14. portable.
