- What would be really nice is if CSRG could take the time and publish
- the consensus information as an informational RFC. This would make it
- even more widely accessible and could help encourage vendors to follow
- it.

- For one thing, it carries more weight with the vendors when several
- customers ask why they aren't doing it the way RFC-HHHH describes.
- For another, it makes it easier for the technical staff to persuade
- managers that changes to conform are justified and worthwhile.
