  14.   What would be really nice is if CSRG could take the time and publish
  15. the consensus information as an informational RFC.  This would make it
  16. even more widely accessible and could help encourage vendors to follow
  17. it.

  19.   For one thing, it carries more weight with the vendors when several
  20. customers ask why they aren't doing it the way RFC-HHHH describes.
  21. For another, it makes it easier for the technical staff to persuade
  22. managers that changes to conform are justified and worthwhile.
