  3. As a member of the TCOS/SS ballot group, I just received a ballot,
  4. "Approval of TCOS-SS Operating Procedures", dated May 6, 1991.
  5. It covers rules and regs for the TCOS-SS, as you may guess.

  7. I'm taking advantage of this ballot and its section 4.2, Distribution
  8. of Documents, to encourage making POSIX standards and drafts
  9. available by anonymous ftp.  I recall some discussion in this
  10. group on suitable means of doing this.

  12. I don't want to start a discussion on the pros and cons of 
  13. doing this - that's been covered before.  My intent in making this
  14. posting is to remind people interested in seeing this done
  15. that now is a time to make an 'official' comment about it.
