  5. I am interested in tracking the progress of proposed POSIX threads.

  7. Are they discussed in this newsgroup?  Do mailing lists exists for
  8. its discussion?  Etc.

  10. Currently the proposed POSIX threads I know about are in P1003.4a
  11. draft.  At one time I thought another POSIX group was also working
  12. on threads standardization.
