  21. Well, I guess there must be at least two such people, since I don't agree
  22. with the pronunciation the footnote attempts (inaccurately) to render,
  23. and I'm not a member of the clique:  I find attempts to standardize
  24. pronunciations silly and a waste of time.

  26. I note that you don't attempt to claim that there was a consensus
  27. of the committee about your pronunciation.  This is because there
  28. never was any such consensus.
