  4. I'm doing a semester long project for Carnegie Mellon's Information
  5. Systems department requiring:

  7. 1) my code be written in C
  8. 2) the use of graphics
  9. 3) that the final version be
  10.     a) UNIX-based
  11.     b) portable to ALL UNIX SYSTEMS
  12.  
  13. What my question boils down to is:
  14. "Is there any such thing as a UNIX graphics package that works for all
  15. systems?"
  16.  
  17. The first thing I asked my professor when I received the assignment was
  18. if I could assume X-windows on all of the systems.  She told me to
  19. explore other options.

  21. Does anyone have any ideas?
