  3. I am trying to get the POSIX standard on Direct I/O.

  5. By Direct I/O, I mean the ability to read/write data directly from/to
  6. a regular file into/from user address space without going through kernel
  7. space.

  9. Specifically, I need the ioctl command and argument bits.
