  3. It seems that X/Open requires the implementation to provide a log-gamma
  4. function in the math library, using *both* names `gamma()' and `lgamma()',
  5. with identical semantics.  What on earth is the point?  Why didn't they just
  6. pick one of them as the standard name, and let the other faction convert their
  7. code?
