  4. For general information, an X3 committee has been formed to deal with
  5. standards for display management.  This includes windowing controls.
  6. It is chaired by John Butler of Microsoft.  Datamation reports that they
  7. are developing a model based on MS/Windows rather than X.WINDOWS or
  8. Sun's NeW(e)s(t) suggestions.  It is not clear how this might related
  9. to 1003 and/or other standards.
