  1. As I gave a paper copy of volumes one and two of mod.std.unix to the
  2. P1003 chair at the Steering Group meeting in Dallas, it is convenient
  3. to start Volume 3, of which this is Number 1.  Friday was not the first
  4. time the committee had seen articles from the newsgroup, by the way,
  5. since several members follow it closely and I tend to directly forward
  6. specific articles of interest to the chair.  Your input is seen and
  7. taken into account.

  10. The USENET newsgroup mod.std.unix is for discussions of UNIX standards,
  11. particularly the IEEE P1003 draft standard.  It is also distributed
  12. in an ARPA Internet mailing list.  I'm the moderator, which mostly
  13. means I post what you send me.

  26. be retreived by anonymous ftp (login anonymous, password guest)

  28. as ~ftp/pub/mod.std.unix.v1 and ~ftp/pub/mod.std.unix.v2.
