  16. The sys V announcment that I attended included discussion not only of
  17. getopt but of an error library routine.

  19. I don't have the syntax handy but it included the severity of the error
  20. (warning vs. error vs. fatal), a user supplied message, and optionally
  21. the errno determined system error message.
  22.  
  23. I have seen several postings of source which use a similar routine.
  24. Does anyone at ATT care to comment on whether an error routine will be
  25. included and what the syntax is?
