  1. CALENTOOL - Version 2.2

  4. Calentool is a day/week/month/year-at-glance tool for Sun Workstations.
  5. The windowed display interface uses SunView (1.0).  A XView (2.0)
  6. port is also available.
  7.  
  8. One can view a single day's appointments and notes, a weeks worth (with
  9. abbreviated messages), a month at a time (with appointment flags) or a year
  10. at a time (with appointment flags).  Alternate appointment files can be
  11. specified to allow checking other users' schedules.
  12.  
  13. Recurring appointments (e.g every Monday or every 1st & 3rd Tuesday),
  14. as well as a reminder of future appointments are available.
  15.  
  16. Interesting information about the sun and moon is also available for viewing.

  20. and the INSTALL file for installation instructions.)

  22. Conversion programs are supplied to convert from some of the other
  23. common calendar program appointment files and calentool's file format.

  25. This program was originally written by Philip Heller of Sun Microsystems,
  26. but has had numerous bug fixes and enhancements made by Bill Randle of
  27. Tektronix and other users.  [I'm sure Phil would recognized it any
  28. more :-).]

  30. It has been tested on a 3/60 OS 3.5, a SparcStation 1 OS 4.1 (SunView
  31. and X11R4), a SparcStation 2 OS 4.1.1 (SunView and OW) and perhaps others.
