About Managing Your RSA SecurID 800 Authenticator

You can use a connected SecurID 800 authenticator with the SecurID desktop
application to authenticate to your VPN client or another application
protected by SecurID. With a connected SecurID 800, your VPN client can
automatically retrieve your one-time password (tokencode). Before you
can use your SecurID 800 with the SecurID desktop application, RSA Smart
Card Middleware must be installed. If you do not have Middleware installed,
contact your administrator.

If you have imported software tokens to the SecurID desktop application,
you must set your SecurID 800 as your default token before you can use
it. See Set Your RSA SecurID 800
Authenticator as the Default Token.

After you have set up your SecurID 800, you can view information about
it, such as the expiration date. Click Options
> Manage Token, and select Token
Information.

Note: You cannot
delete the software token that is embedded in your SecurID 800, and you
cannot add software tokens to your SecurID 800.
