You can import software tokens to a device supported by the SecurID
desktop application. Normally, when you import a token, it is automatically
stored on the local hard drive of your computer. The desktop application
lists the default storage device as "Local hard drive (RSA)."
However, your administrator may direct you to import tokens to another
supported device.

You can manage token storage devices, as follows:

Select a token storage device.
If your administrator has configured the application to allow you to store
tokens on more than one type of device, you must select the device on
which you want to store the tokens. For more information, see Select
a Token Storage Device.

Set a password to protect the tokens
that reside on a device. If you store tokens on your local hard
drive, you can set a single device password that protects all of the tokens.
For more information, see Protect
Tokens Stored on Your Hard Drive. If you store tokens on another type
of supported device, you can set a device password or enter other credentials
(such as a fingerprint scan), as instructed by your administrator. For
more information, see Protect
Tokens Stored on a Device Other Than the Hard Drive.
