  84. <h1>Import a Token from an E-mail Attachment</h1>
  85. <p>Before you can log on to a VPN client or other protected resource, you 
  86.  must import a software-based security token. Use the instructions in this 
  87.  topic if your administrator sent you a token file as an e-mail attachment. 
  88.  Token files have the extension .sdtid (for example, "Token1.sdtid").</p>
  89. <p>To complete the import, you may be prompted to enter a token file password 
  90.  that your administrator supplied. Be sure to note the file password before 
  91.  you begin. </p>
  92. <p class="whs3">To import a token from an e-mail attachment:</p>

  94.     <li class=p><p>Double-click the file attachment (for example, "Token1.sdtid").</p></li>
  95.     <li class=p><p>When prompted to open or save the file, click <span 
  96.  style="font-weight: bold;"><B>Open</B></span>.<br>
  97.     The application detects the token file and starts up.</p></li>
  98.     <li class=p><p>If prompted, enter the token file password, and click 
  99.  <span style="font-weight: bold;"><B>OK</B></span>. </p></li>
  100.     <li class=p><p>If prompted to select the device on which you want to 
  101.  store the token, click the name of the device as your administrator directs, 
  102.  for example, "Local hard drive (RSA)." </p></li>

  104.     If prompted to rename your token, you can rename the token, retain 
  105.  the existing name, or change the name later.</p></li>
