  10.         This is release 1.0.3 of Doctor Diablo for multiplayer
  11.         games of Diablo. This software allows you detect players
  12.         who are cheating in a multi-player game of diablo.
  13.  
  14.         GENERAL INFO:
  15.  
  16.         This software does not detect all cheaters. Modified
  17.         items such as rings with +100 to all, or whatever, are
  18.         not easily detected. The reason for this is that the
  19.         game RE-COMPUTES the player's items for all players on
  20.         your local machine. If you take a ring of the heavens and
  21.         bump its +attribs to +200, on another player's machine,
  22.         the ring in their inventory will STILL register as
  23.         +15 to all. This is the way the game works.
  24.  
  25.         I now know how to work around this, but it is going to
  26.         take me a little while to implement it. I am busy all
  27.         week.

  29.         A BRIEF WORD ABOUT THE SOFTWARE:

  31.         The software currently is VERY ACCURATE at finding people
  32.         who MODIFY THEIR STATS. NOTHING MORE. Don't expect it to
  33.         locate every cheat out there.

  35.         THERE WILL BE SOME MORE POWERFULL CHEAT DETECTION FUNCTIONS

  45.         Fixed some bugs in the older versions. Version 1.0.2
  46.         would complain if a characters base+equip stats were
  47.         not exactly equal to their current stats. This is a
  48.         very weird situation but does occur occasionally.

  50.         This version now displays deviation as the percentage
  51.         of the character's CURRENT ATTS which can be attributed
  52.         to elixirs and such. This brings down the deviations
  53.         considerably.

  73.         1. Stat cheat detection.

  75.                 Detects the percentage of a character's attributes
  76.                 which can be attributed to their use of elixirs and
  77.                 shrines. A very high percentage ( i.e 30+ ) may
  78.                 indicate that the player is cheating.

  81.        2. Inventory Analysis

  83.                 Allows you to view a player's NON-ACTIVE inventory
  84.                 to detect Ears, etc. that might indicate the player
  85.                 is a p-killer or item duplicator.

  87.                 DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO VIEW ACTIVE WEAPONS, RINGS,
  88.                 AND ARMOR. IF THE SOFTWARE DID THIS IT WOULD MAKE
  89.                 A HANDY TOOL FOR CHARACTER CLONERS...

  94.         INTERFACE:

  97.         Doctor diablo displays all characters currently in the game
  98.         on the main dialog interface. The character names are color
  99.         coded:
  100.  
  101.                GREEN TEXT ON BLACK BACKGROUND   = NORMAL CHARACTER
  102.                RED TEXT ON A YELLOW BACKGROUND  = DETECTED CHEAT
  103.  
  104.         If a player registers as a cheater, you can select the REPORT
  105.         button on the main interface to view the analysis of their
  106.         stats and WEAPON.
  107.  
  108.         The Report Dialog Box displays the evaluations and whether or
  109.         not the evaluations were passed.
  110.  
  111.         The INVENTORY button allows you to view the contents of the
  112.         players non-active inventory. If you select items in the
  113.         list box, you can select the VIEW button to view more info
  114.         on the selected items.

  118.         CONFIGURATION INFORMATION
  119.  
  120.         You use the CONFIG CHEAT DETECT button to access the config
  121.         dialog box. This dialog box allows you to specify parameters
  122.         which control cheat detection. These parameters are:
  123.  
  124.         1. Acceptable Deviation.
  125.  
  126.                 This parameters sets a ceiling on what percentage
  127.                 of a character's attributes should come from
  128.                 elixirs and shrines. Anything over this percentage
  129.                 will trip the "potential cheater" indication.
  130.  
  131.  
  132.                 The deviation allows a character to use elixirs and
  133.                 shrines to bump up their stats without tripping the
  134.                 cheat detection.
  135.  
  136.                 You can be SURE that anyone who trips on a deviation
  137.                 of 40% or more is 99% probably a cheater.

  139.         2. Weapon Min Damage Ceiling.
  140.  
  141.                 This allows you to configure the maximum damage
  142.                 a weapon can list as it's MINIMUM DAMAGE.
  143.  
  144.                 If a player is carrying a weapon which does a
  145.                 MINIMUM DAMAGE greater than this number, that
  146.                 character will be flagged as a cheater.

  149.         3. Weapon Max Damage Ceiling
  150.  
  151.                 This allows you to configure the maximum damage
  152.                 a weapon can list as its MAXIMUM DAMAGE.
  153.  
  154.                 Any character carrying a weapon which does more
  155.                 damage than this as a MAXIMUM will be flagged
  156.                 as a potential cheater.
