  10. This software consists of a self-extracting archive of a
  11. Disk Copy 1440K disk image.  To use, download, double-click
  12. the downloaded file (this decompresses it), and use Disk
  13. Copy to create a disk.

  17. GeoPort Updater Read Me

  19. What is the GeoPort Updater
  20.  
  21. The GeoPort Updater improves ring detection on incoming
  22. calls for Europe, Australia and New Zealand only. It is not
  23. required for (and has no effect in) the USA, Canada and
  24. Japan. It is an update to the 'GeoPort Telecom Adapter' file
  25. only, and does not update or affect any other files.

  27. Installing the GeoPort Updater
  28.  
  29. 1. First install the Apple Telecom 3.0 or 3.0.x software
  30. (unless it is already installed) according to the
  31. instructions in the guide Getting Started With Apple
  32. Telecom.

  34. 2. Insert the GeoPort Updater disk into your disk drive,
  35. then double-click the Installer icon.

  37. 3. Follow the onscreen instructions for installing the
  38. GeoPort Updater software. The GeoPort Updater replaces the
  39. existing 'GeoPort Telecom Adapter' file.
