Duke Nukem 3D .MAP Authoring Template v1.0
==================================================================
Title : WARPED
Filename : warped.map
Author : Unseen
Email Address : dwebb@isd.net
Misc. Author Info : I rule.
Description : A WARPED level for dukematch... This level is
twisted and will probably confuse you the
first twenty times you play it. However, once
you know your way around it's a different
story....
Additional Credits to : All those guys who put out all the help docs
to help out beginners, even though I found
LOTS of mistakes in 'em.
==================================================================
* Play Information *
Episode and Level : WARPED.MAP
Single Player : no, maybe just to learn your way around.
Dukematch Level : YES!!
Difficulty Settings : depends on who you're playing ;)
* Construction *
Base : It took a warped mind to think it up in the
first place.
Editor(s) used : BUILD
Known Bugs : Umm... well, I may re-release it if I get some
suggestions or bug-reports. So far I don't know
of any.
* Where to get this .MAP file *
Go to #Duke3d on IRC... there are always people in there and map trading
is a norm... Go there for the latest and greatest, and say hey to me if you
see me on there.
* COMMAND LINES *
You can always choose a .MAP file from Setup in the Duke directory
(this is how you would do it for Dukematch before connecting)
you can also use these simple command lines:
To Play : Duke3D /map warped.map
To Record: Duke3D /map warped.map /r (kind of pointless alone)
Recording in multiplayer is done the same as always (in the game under
Options) before choosing New Game then User Map.
AddOn .MAP recordings can be run after loading the game (with the map)
then hitting Quit To Title * you can only watch once because the 2nd
time it will be trying to use the normal Duke enviroment perameters
unless you exit the game again.
* Additional Notes *
Do you have an idea or bug-report? SEND ME E-MAIL, I would like to hear
from Dukers to get some input on cool duke-match levels. My E-mail address
is dwebb@isd.net. THANKS!
Later...
