  13. Needed, but not included is McAfee & Associates Viruscan.  The
  14. minimum required version is 7.8V82.  If I included it on the disk,
  15. I would never be able to keep my disks up to date!  If you need
  16. to acquire a recent copy of Viruscan, I can recommend The Wizzard's
  17. Cave BBS @ (516) 483-5841.  This source is one step removed from
  18. McAfee themselves.  If you are a USMC user, you are not authorized
  19. to use any copies other than those distributed by CDPA Quantico.

  23. The file viruschk.doc is a plain ascii text file, ready to read or 
  24. print on just about any printer (formatted for 8-1/2 X 11 paper).

  26. Also included are usmcwarn.com and dodwarn.com.  These programs are
  27. approved by DOD-CERT(ASSIST) and MCCDPA(C4I) as meeting the new
  28. requirements set forth in DISA message 031525ZJUN93 and CMC message
  29. R161900ZJUN93ZYB.  They are provided as freeware for those who desire
  30. to use them and distribution is unrestricted.
