  9. as follows:

  11. NOTE:   This version of the archive does not include the Visual Basic
  12.     runtime, VBRUN200.DLL from Microsoft.  If your system 
  13.     doesn't have this file, you can just download 
  14.     the VBRUN2.ZIP from the Index Library section of the 
  15.     Microsoft Windows Shareware Forum on CompuServe.

  25. Instructions:

  27.     By now, you should already have extracted the DSWEEP1.EXE
  28.     archive into the files README.1ST (this file) and DSWNVB2.EXE.
  29.  
  30.     DSWNVB2.EXE is another archive containing the equivalent 
  31.     of a Windows setup floppy.  We suggest you decompress this 
  32.     file in either a separate installation directory or onto a 
  33.     blank formatted floppy.  To extract the setup files from 
  34.     DSWNVB2.EXE, type DSWNVB2 at the DOS prompt.

  36.     For example:
  37.     1. Create a directory \dswinst and put DSWNVB2.EXE in it.
  38.         >md \dswinst
  39.         >copy DSWNVB2.EXE \dswinst\DSWNVB2.EXE
  40.     2. Execute DSWNVB2 at the DOS prompt.
  41.         >DSWNVB2
  42.  
  43.     Once you have done this, start Windows and then 
  44.     run SETUP.EXE from the installation directory or 
  45.     the floppy, depending on where you extracted the files.  
  46.     From Windows, in the Program Manager, run the SETUP.EXE 
  47.     program on the installation floppy.  To do this pull down 
  48.     the File menu and select Run from that menu.  In the
  49.     dialog box, fill in A:SETUP or B:SETUP, depending on which 
  50.     drive the floppy is inserted into.

  54.     PCTools' DiskFix program is incompatible with DiskSweep.  
  55.     DiskFix will mistakenly detect corrupted directory structures
  56.     and ERASE the entire hard disk.  Do not run DiskFix with 
  57.     DiskSweep installed.
  58.  
  59.     On some machines, the use of FASTOPEN will cause Windows to
  60.     freeze when DiskSweep is also running.  If you see this
  61.     happening, stop using FASTOPEN. 
  62.  
  63.     When copying files via Laplink, we suggest disabling the TSR,
  64.     DSWTSR.EXE as we have seen periodic timeouts in the data
  65.     transfer phase of Laplink.  The TSR can be disabled by simply
  66.     REM'ing it out of AUTOEXEC.BAT, or booting the PC clean from
  67.     FLOPPY when doing a Laplink type transfer.

  69.     DiskSweep is incompatible with Windows For Workgroup's 
  70.     32 bit file access driver.  The driver is the ifshlp.sys
  71.     line in config.sys.  DiskSweep will work as long as
  72.     this is not enabled.
