  5. I wrote this text in like 2.9 seconds so dont expect anything real
  6. sophisticated. I thought i would just write up something kind unusual but
  7. powerful if you keep studing it. This is just a gateway to learning switch.

  9. Tandems:
  10.  
  11. Switches that consolidate traffic, reduce trunk group requirements, and
  12. switch interoffice traffic. They allow U S WEST to manage the network more
  13. economically. Also referred to as "local" and "access" tandems.

  15. CLLI codes:
  16.  
  17. Stand for Competetive Local Exchange Carrier and are 11 digit codes that
  18. RBOC's assign to the C.O's location.
  19.  
  20. Reading CLLI codes: PHNXAZMA01T
  21.  
  22. Yes these 11 digit codez actually mean something.  The Letters 5and6
  23. represent the state, 7and8 are the C.O's name and 9 thru 11 is the specific
  24. equiptment name.

  88. This text is just for showing to younger phreaks that there still are tons of
  89. old old creaky ass mother fuckin switches out there to play with, so kids I
  90. suggest you read some texts on these.  This will double your knowedge of
  91. phreaking, and help you be an all around better person =) I know this is
  92. kinda off my regular GEOS/LEOS subject but I thought that some people just
  93. dont now the power of switches these days...
