  1. Sony CMH-333 NAM Programming instructions:

  5. Programming mode:
  6.  
  7. 1)  Turn on phone
  8.  
  9. 2) Enter the password "76692643" within 10 seconds after "on" has
  10. appeared on the display.
  11.  
  12. The display will read:
  13. "n1-1 n2-2"
  14. n1-1= NAM 1
  15. n2-2= NAM 2
  16.  
  17. 3) Select the NAM you wish to program by entering 1 or 2 on the
  18. keypad.

  20. The display will read:
  21. Ab-1 Fu-2
  22. Ab-1 = Abbreviated programming mode.  Allows you to enter the first
  23. five (1-5) programming parameters.

  25. Fu-2 = Full programming mode.  Allows entering all 14 parameters.

  27. 4) Select 1 or 2 on the keypad for Abbreviated or Full programming
  28. mode.

  32. Clearing a NAM:
  33.  
  34. Clearing the NAM results in the seventh digit of the MIN programming
  35. parameter being changed to a line mark.  This is equivalent to there being
  36. no number in the parametr.  All other programming parameters remain the same.
  37. If the NAM is cleared the user will not be allowed access to it by the RCL 5
  38. key sequence.  (refer to the owners manual)

  40. After you have have selected the NAM in programming mode, the display
  41. will read Ab-1 Fu-2.  Press the SEND key.  The display will read
  42. "clear 1" or "clear 2".  The phone will then restart.

  48. Power - exit programming mode without storing new data in NAM
  49. END - Exit programming mode wil storing new data in NAM
  50. RCL - Go back to the previous parameter
  51. STO - Got to the next parameter

  57. The esn is located under the batter in the battery compartment.
  58. It is obtained by adding 1540 to the front of the 7 digit serial
  59. number.
