  16.  This is the newest invention to hit the phreak scene. The Idiotic Box was
  17. actually conceived by a guy who really knows his stuff when it comes to 
  18. phones, Cyber Thief. Other USEFUL boxes designed by Cyber Thief include the 
  19. Hold Box (put a caller on hold), and the Hangup Box (push a button to hang
  20. up, BRILLIANT!). The all new Idiotic Box actually allows you to kill a
  21. line with only 120 VAC! This box is much more k-RaD eLiTe then the infamous 
  22. Blotto Box. The Idiotic Box got it's name because A, you have to be an idiot 
  23. to believe it works, and B it was the most idiotic thing I have ever thought 
  24. of!

  26. Construction

  29. Here are the materials you'll need to construct the Idiotic Box...
  30.  
  31. (1) Modular plug to spade lugs connector Cat# 279-391 (1 foot)
  32.     279-310 (12 foot).
  33. (2) Alligator clips with screw terminals. Cat# 270-375
  34. (1) Small Phillips Head Screwdriver.
  35. (1) LONG AC Extension Cord.
  36. (1) Soldering Iron
  37. (1) Roll of Electric Tape.

  39.  All of the above mentioned parts can be picked up at your local RAT SHACK!

  41.  Take two alligator clips (preferably red and green) and use the screwdriver
  42. to loosen the screw terminals. Look at the spade lug to modular plug set.
  43. It should have four wires, red, green, black, and yellow. We will be
  44. working with the red and green wires. The black and yellow wires are of no
  45. use to you, and can be cut off. Now take the spade lug to modular plug set
  46. and place the prong of the red wire under the screw terminal on the red
  47. alligator clip. Tighten the screw. Now, place the prong of the green wire
  48. under the screw terminal on the green alligator clip. Tighten the screw.

  50.  Now take some scissors and cut off the modular plug on the spade lug set. 
  51. Strip the red and green wires inside. Next you'll want to cut off one end 
  52. of the extension cord. Strip the cut end until you reach the core. At this
  53. point you'll want to solder the two cores from the extension cord to the
  54. striped ends of the spade lug set. When the extension cord and spade lug set 
  55. is firmly soldered together, take the electric tape and wrap up your 
  56. connections. That's it!

  61.  Locate your victim's terminal and open it with a good kick. Take your new 
  62. Idiotic Box and hook it up. This is what the terminal interior should look
  63. like...

  71.  The red gator clip connects to the bottom right bolt. The green gator clip
  72. connects the the bottom left bolt. I recommend hooking a Beige Box to the 
  73. line first so you can dial an ANAC number. After all, you wouldn't want to
  74. kill your own line, right?!

  76.  Now take the extension cord end of the Idiotic Box and plug it into the 
  77. nearest outlet. There is now 120 volts wreaking havoc on your victim's line!
