  7. Before I start, I just want to say something.This is a very simple box
  8. to get but it is costly (this box is basically for the rich phreak) and
  9. this box is used for field phreaking. I can't guarantee you that this
  10. will work because I would never do anything like this ;-)

  12. What You Need
  13. ----------------------
  14. Wireless Phone Jack System (WPJS)
  15. A Phone (with a cord that you plug into a phone jack)
  16. An Extension Cord (electrical)

  18. How To Make It
  19. ---------------------
  20. What you need to do is go to Radio Shack and buy (or steal) a WPJS
  21. (catalogue number 279-8459). It costs about $100. First for all you
  22. newbies, that don't know what a WPJS is, I will tell you. Basically,
  23. it's a something that you can plug into an electrical outlet and turn it
  24. in to a phone jack. When you get an extension cord, try not to get the
  25. bright orange ones.

  27. Once you have all you need, all you have to do is plug the WPJS into the
  28. extension cord. Then, plug the phone cord into the WPJS and you are
  29. done. (that was hard wasn't it?)

  31. How To Use It
  32. -------------------
  33. I am going to tell you how to use it even though most of you already
  34. have an idea of how it works. First, you pick a house you are going to
  35. phreak. It's better if you always pick a different house every time. The
  36. house should have a good place for you to seat and hide for a while.
  37. Now, you need to find an electrical outlet. Most houses have one at the
  38. front door and one in the back or on the side of the house. Once you
  39. find the outlet, you plug in the extension cord, then go to your hiding
  40. place. (note you take the phone and the cord with you) Try to hide the
  41. wire behind some bushes. Once you are hiden, pick up the phone and you
  42. should hear a dial tone, and you can make your call and it gets billed
  43. to whoever's house it is.

  45. Problems and Hints
  46. ---------------------------
  47. The following is a list of problems that may occur and what you should
  48. do.

  50. What if the guy at Radio Shack won't sell it to me? What if he asks what
  51. it's for? This only happens to kids who look young or to people who look
  52. like they are doing to use it illegaly (you are but they have no right
  53. to think so), but if it  does happen tell him that you (and your
  54. parents) have just moved into an new house and you want a phone line in
  55. your room but there is no phone jack. So, you need the WPJS in order to
  56. have a phone.

  58. What if in the house you are phreaking on, someone in using the phone?
  59. Well, you have a few choices. If the person doesn't hear you, you can
  60. listen in to the phone call, or you can do you another house. But, if
  61. the person does hear you (the person might come outside looking for
  62. you), you can make a quick get away and hide everything in some bushes
  63. and run (stupid idea cause you lose about $125 but it's better than
  64. getting caught), you can stay hiding in the bushes and pray they don't
  65. see you, you can unplug the WPJS and take the phone and the WPJS and run
  66. for it, or if you are feeling really lucky, you can run and get the
  67. extention cord and grab everything and run. If the person does come out
  68. and you do get away you should go home because they might call the cops
  69. and you don't want to get caught.
