  10.    The  Lunch Box  is  a  very  simple
  11. transmitter  which  can be  handy  for
  12. all  sorts  of  things.   It is  quite
  13. small  and  can easily  be  put  in  a
  14. number of  places.   I  have  success-
  15. fully used it  for tapping phones, get
  16. inside  information,  black  mail  and
  17. other such things.   The possibilities
  18. are endless.  I will also  include the
  19. plans  for  an equally  small receiver
  20. or your  newly made toy.   Use  it for
  21. just  about  anything.  You  can  also
  22. make the  transmitter and receiver to-
  23. gether in one  box  and  use  it as  a
  24. walkie-talkie.

  87. 1 - GND means GRouNd
  88. 2 - The GND near the switch + the GND
  89.     by the 2MEG potentiometer should
  90.     be connected.

  94.     transistor antenna coil w/15 turns
  95.     of regular hook-up wire around it.
  96. 4 - The middle of the loop on the left
  97.     side {left of '()'} you should run
  98.     a  wire down to  the '+' which has
  99.     nothing attached to it.  There is
  100.     a .0047 capacitor on the correct
  101.     peice of wire.
  102. 5 - For the  microphone use a magnetic
  103.     earphone (1k to 2k).
  104. 6 - '!' is  the antenna.  Use about 8'
  105.     of  wire to broadcast about  300'.
  106.     You  can't   broadcast  over  300'
  107.     without a license.  The longer the
  108.     antenna   the  more  powerful  the
  109.     signal will be.   For a  very long
  110.     antenna use  the black wire on the
  111.     phone line.

  115. Using the Lunch Box >
  116. --------------------'

  118.    This transmitter will send the sig-
  119. nals over  the AM radio band.  You use
  120. the variable capacitor to  adjust what
  121. freq. you want to us.  Find a good un-
  122. used  freq. down at  the lower end  of
  123. the scale  and  you're  set.   Use the
  124. 2meg  pot.   to  adjust  again.   Just
  125. screw  with  it  until  you  get  what
  126. sounds good.   The switch  on the 2meg
  127. is for  turning the  Lunch Box  on and
  128. off.   When  everything  is  adjusted,
  129. turn on  AM radio and tune it to where
  130. you  think  the  signal  is.   Have  a
  131. friend  say something  through the box
  132. and  and  tune  into  it.   That's all
  133. there is to it!
