Transcription: The sea creeps further into the abandoned steerage quarters. The bow of the ship is now so low in the water that its titanic name plates are submerged. Another rocket bursts overhead, lighting sea and sky in a persistent distress call. The band continues playing ragtime tunes bravely and merrily on the boat deck. Nine of the 20 lifeboats have been launched. The ship has less than an hour to live.
