  1. To create a bootable floppy:
  2.  
  3. 0. If you recieved DOS/NT(tm) on diskette, copy the files into a directory 
  4. set aside for the operating system.  If you downloaded, repeat the unpacking 
  5. in a  directory set aside for the operating system if you did not already do 
  6. so.  This will make certain that you do not inadverdantly mix DOS/NT 
  7. utilities with those of other DOS systems.
  8.  
  9. 1. Format a new floppy (360K or 720K only).  Do not enter a label for the 
  10. disk, otherwise the sys utility will report an error and abort.
  11.  
  12. 2. Change directory (if necessary) where the DOS/NT files are stored.
  13.  
  14. 3. Enter the command:
  15.  
  16.     sys a:
  17.  
  18.      -or-
  19.  
  20.     sys b:
  21.  
  22. to transfer the system files to the diskette.
  23.  
  24. 4. Write protect this disk and use it to boot from.
