  20. This new Setup Studio release is the ideal tool to create professional
  21. quality  installation  programs  for  Windows 3.10.  Easy to use:  You 
  22. don' t need to learn another language to  create  your  Setup software 
  23. and  no  more  than  3  functions are required!   All 80 functions are 
  24. grouped in a  DLL  and declaration files are provided for  C\C++   and 
  25. Basic programmers. With this release,  a new generic Setup sample with 
  26. VC++ source code is provided.   Now, Setup studio support up to   1200 
  27. files, 30 diskettes and  40  groups.   Setup Studio use a built in ZIP 
  28. compression format, also generated setup is 20% smaller and 50% faster 
  29. than the previous release. Setup  Studio  handles everything you need: 
  30. Shared DLLs, VBXs, files larger than a media support, automatic backup
  31. , files date checking... Setup programs are bilingual ( French\English
  32. )and a 150 pages HLP documentation is provided for this two languages.
  33. To create the diskettes,  a new assistant is also provided:   This one 
  34. includes  a complete  files manager  and an  optimized compiler.  This 
  35. Wizard also supports multiple Setup projects and doesn' t require  any 
  36. other compression tool. Generated programs are  MS  SDK  Setup Toolkit 
  37. compatable. To use it, you just need  Win 3.10, a Win 3.10 development 
  38. software whith external  DLLs  calls support,  a  VGA card and an hard 
  39. disk. Evaluation version installs files in a "TEST" directory. Licence 
  40. costs no more than 50$- ( 250FFr ). Free upgrade. No royalties.

  44. You must UNZIP all files included in SSETUP22.ZIP or SSETUP22.EXE.  To
  45. do this, call PKUNZIP  or UNZIP SSETUP22.ZIP or run SSETUP22.EXE.  Now
  46. close  any  application using  THREED.VBX ,            and close  your  
  47. old   Setup Studio    release if any.   To launch the installation run 
  48. SETUP.EXE  on Windows   3.10  system. To do this, double click on this 
  49. file in the Files manager program   or    call the  WinFile' s command 
  50. "Application" "execute" and give A:SETUP or B:SETUP as parameter.

  52. To  avoid  problems during the setup,   please consider the following:
  53.  
  54.    * Paths can not be longer than 120 characters,
  55.    * Available space on disk must be higher than 300 Ko. to start 
  56.      the Setup program.
