  23. 1.  GRANT OF LICENSE.  This License Agreement permits you to 
  24. use one copy of the above mentioned software program (the "SOFTWARE")
  25. on a single computer.  The SOFTWARE is in "use" on a computer when it
  26. is loaded into temporary memory (i.e. RAM) or installed into permanent
  27. memory (e.g. hard disk, CD-ROM, or other storage device) of that 
  28. computer.  However, installation on a network server for the 
  29. sole purpose of internal distribution shall not constitute 
  30. "use" for which a separate license is required, provided you 
  31. have a separate license for each computer to which the SOFTWARE 
  32. is distributed.

  34. 2.  COPYRIGHT.  The SOFTWARE is owned by Steve McNair and is
  35. protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions.
  36. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE like any other copyrighted
  37. material (e.g. a book or musical recording) except that you may
  38. either (a) make one copy of the SOFTWARE solely for backup or
  39. archival purposes, or (b) transfer the SOFTWARE to a single hard
  40. disk provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival
  41. purposes.  You may not copy the written materials accompanying
  42. the SOFTWARE.

  44. 3.  OTHER RESTRICTIONS.  You may not rent or lease the SOFTWARE,
  45. but you may transfer the SOFTWARE and accompanying written
  46. materials on a permanent basis provided you retain no copies and
  47. the recipient agrees to the terms of this Agreement.  You may
  48. not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE.
  49. If the Software is an update or has been updated, any transfer
  50. must include the most recent update and all prior versions.

  52. Limited Warranty

  54. LIMITED WARRANTY.  This program (including the registered
  55. version) is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind,
  56. either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the
  57. implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
  58. purpose.  The entire risk as to the quality and performance of
  59. the SOFTWARE is with you, the licensee.  Should the SOFTWARE
  60. prove defective, you assume the risk and liability for the entire
  61. cost of all necessary repair, service, or correction.

  63. The author does not warranty the functions contained in the
  64. SOFTWARE will meet your requirements, or that the operation of
  65. the SOFTWARE will be error-free or uninterrupted.
